Vision | Slovak Obesity Association

The main task of the Slovak Obesity Association (SOA) is to assemble physicians and healthcare professionals involved in obesity management and research and to represent their professional interests.

SOA presents, publishes and promotes suggestions and opinions on the scientific issues in the field of obesitology, on the cutting-edge diagnostic, therapeutic and scientific practices, on ethical issues in the field of obesitology, on legal norms, on education in the field of obesitology. SOA informs its members about the latest diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, collaborates with scientific and health organizations both in Slovakia and abroad, supporting reciprocal colaboration and exchange of experts.
